Impossible dreams

I’d like to catch the moon between my hands
And hang it on the chest to cool my sores
For although in the sky resplendent stands
It simply drags my heart away from Yours.
I’d like to enter deep into the sea
And there obtain a jewel to appease my soul,
To think that the whole world is meant for me
And I will never have to hear a “no”.
I’d like to have the chance to play with fire
Without being ever burnt by any flame,
To fulfill all my dreams until I tire
And still never forget Your Holy Name.
As reality never can be so
Let me dream about life’s final goal...
