Spontaneous

Nobody tells the flowers when to bloom
Nor dictates to the creepers when to grow;
Upon hearing the spring is coming soon
They spontaneously follow nature's law.
Faith, philosophy, reason, motivation,
None of these will convince Krishna to stay;
They can't even prevent this situation:
Affection for what's sure to fade away.
The most important principle was said:
"Only spontaneous love is what we need."
I try to figure out why I'm so mad
And the cause is not hard to see, indeed:
By force I drag my thought upon God's feet,
By nature it diverts to one not fit.
